Dr. Heather Lewis
Veterinarian

Dr. Lewis earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She practiced with small animals and exotics in Jackson, MI for 12 years and has a special interest in medicine, pain management, surgery and ultrasound.

Veterinarian

Dr. Lacey is a Jackson, MI native. She studied Animal Science at Michigan State University, She graduated from MSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and joined Irwin Avenue Animal Hospital in April of 2019. She has a special interest in small animal and exotic medicine. Outside of work Dr. Lacey enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters who stay busy on their produce farm.

Office Manager

Beckie has been with our practice for 25 years. As office manager, she enjoys making both our clients and patients feel at home during each visit at Irwin Avenue. She feels that being trusted by the families and the patients of Irwin Avenue is an honor that she values and appreciates every day. She has 3 wonderful dogs who are her pride and joy and 4 beautiful kitties that she adores to cuddle with after work on a hard day.

We understand that sometimes it's hard to get a pet to us, so for some services house calls are available by appointment.

1. Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, patients are seen by appointment unless your pet is having an emergency. However, “drop-offs” are acceptable if our schedule allows.

2. What is your payment policy?

Payment is expected at the time the services are performed.
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.

3. When are county dog licenses available?

County dog licenses are sold at the Irwin Avenue Animal Hospital every year from Dec. 01 to Feb. 28!
